In 2025, as Grillage Bolar celebrated nearly 80 years of history, our family-owned business had the tremendous honor of being named the National Winner of the OSEntreprendre Challenge in the Doing Business Together category. This recognition highlights a value that has been at the heart of our company for three generations: prioritizing local sourcing and contributing to the growth of Québec’s economy.
A Journey That Began at the Local Level
Our journey began in March 2025 at the local OSEntreprendre Gala for the MRC of Thérèse-De Blainville. Representing Grillage Bolar, Noémie Morin and Dylan Beauséjour proudly attended the event, where our company was named a finalist in the Doing Business Together category. This award recognizes businesses that prioritize Québec-based suppliers and demonstrate that it is possible to build a strong, sustainable, and locally driven supply chain. Being named the local winner was already a tremendous honor. It allowed us to advance to the regional competition, where we proudly represented our local community.
Regional Recognition
A few weeks later, we received even more exciting news. Grillage Bolar was named the sole regional winner in the Laurentides region in this category, earning a place at the national finals. This achievement represented much more than a competition. It confirmed that our business philosoph, built on long-term relationships with Québec suppliers, exceptional product quality, and a strong commitment to our community, resonates far beyond our company.
National Recognition
On June 11, 2025, the National OSEntreprendre Gala took place at the Palais Montcalm in Québec City. It was with immense pride and emotion that Grillage Bolar was named the National Winner in the Doing Business Together category. This category, introduced as a pilot project five years earlier, was also celebrating its final edition. Being part of the very last cohort and receiving the highest distinction made this achievement even more meaningful for our entire team. Throughout this journey, Grillage Bolar was awarded more than $30,600 in grants and prizes. Beyond the financial support, however, what truly made this experience unforgettable were the inspiring entrepreneurs we met, the meaningful conversations we shared, and the recognition of our commitment to local sourcing.
