Frames
TT TYPE
TT frames are designed to sit on top of the finished floor to protect it and keep out water. A total opening of ½ inch more is required. This is the preferred type of frame for an existing floor.
VV TYPE
VV frames are designed to be set into concrete, level with the finished floor. A total opening of 2 inches more is required to pour the concrete.
AD TYPE
AD frames are designed to be set into concrete or screwed down every 6 inches to be level with the finished floor. A total opening of ½ inch more is required to pour the concrete. This type of frame is ideal for an existing floor or a wall-to-wall space.
Pans
Galvanized steel
Pans made from 22 gauge galvanized steel provide a continuous flat surface with no drainage. Several other gauges are available on request.
Aluminum
Pans made from 22 gauge aluminum provide a continuous flat surface with no drainage. Several other gauges are available on request.
Stainless steel
Pans made from grade 304, 22 gauge stainless steel provide a continuous flat surface with no drainage. Several other gauges are available on request.
ACCESSORIES
Screwdriver
Hex or star screwdrivers are useful with the “plate and screw” option.
Lifting hook
Lifting hooks are special keys for GB-46 locks and serve as a lever to lift the grills.
Anti-theft screw
Stainless steel anti-theft screws are used when the “plate and screw” option is part of the foot grill.
Noise-abatement pad
Noise-abatement pads absorb and reduce noise in pedestrian crossings.

Anodization
Anodization is a surface treatment that applies another finish to aluminum using anodic oxidation. Its thickness varies between 5 and 50 micrometres. There is a choice of colours: clear 0.4 mil, clear 0.7 mil, bronze and black.
Hinge and catch
The “hinge and catch” option holds the section up and secures the sections of the foot grill during maintenance.
Hinge and GB-46 lock
The “hinge and GB-46 lock” option holds the section up and prevents vibrations in foot grills. It extends the product’s life and prevents tampering.
GB-46 lock at the 4 corners
The “GB46 lock at the 4 corners” option secures each section of the foot grill at the four corners and prevents vibration. It extends the product’s life and prevents tampering.

WW frames are designed to be set into concrete, level with the finished floor. A total opening of 1-¼ inch is required to pour the concrete.
WWI TYPE
WWI frames are designed to be set into concrete, level with the finished floor. A total opening of ½ inch is required to pour the concrete.
SSA TYPE
SSA frames are designed to sit on top of the finished floor and don’t create a depression in the floor.
TT TYPE
TT frames are designed to sit on top of the finished floor and don’t create a depression in the floor.
